At Hyundai Mobis, the IT team led by Rao, constructed a centralised quality monitoring centre to monitor real time KPIs (key performance indicators) that drives the efficiency of on-time supply of manufactured goods to its OEM. One of the key objectives of the implementation was to better monitor manufacturing plants OEE, FTT, quality parts, PPM, shop floor attendance management, CPK, plant equipment. The project has enabled better alignment of business to control it real time and monitor all production equipment (IOT) statuses, and also helped avoid OEM downtime.
