Kanakia Group zeroed in on a hyper converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions to meet the group’s key business objectives of scalability and ease of using technology. One of the major benefits of this HCI based project is that the company could effectively reduce TCO (total cost of ownership). Other added benefits were easy manageability, faster application rollouts and also saving on datacentre expenses on account of rack space, power and cooling. Prior to the HCI deployment, the company's attendance regularization process was a cumbersome one. However, this HCI project cut down this time-consuming process to a mere 2-3 minutes. A faster rollout of virtual machines to various IT users was also made possible. The HCI solution helped future-proof Kanakia Group and be cloud-ready for rolling out applications targeted by IT users in the company.
